Day 1 (16 Nov 16)

We touched down at 11am, so we walked through some really really dark places and found our airbnb hotel for the night! S$36SGD only~ We found this because it's about 10 mins away from the DMK airport :)

Review

Acceptable, bed's comfort level is ok. The room is clean, toilet flush, heater all are working well. However, it's situated near to the road side so the vehicle sounds (horns) can be quite loud. So for light sleepers, it may not be so ideal.

This is the website for the airbnb we stayed :)

Day 2

Primo Piazza

We didn't stay here, but we merely explored the area. Only if you are a hotel guest, you can then enter the premises to feed the goat etc. However, if you're not a hotel guest you can only go to the restaurant as well as take a insta-worthy photo in front of the green house!

Picture vomit~

This is the two-storey restaurant!

The back of the "Green house"

Interior of the restaurant - We're having yummy ice cream as the weather is so hotttttt.

THIS FRIED RICE - BEST FRIED RICE FOR THE WHOLE TRIP. Really fragrant!!! I can still recall the taste of it.

Second storey

First floor's deco

After which, we went to Thames Valley for our check in!

Hotel Nuve Heritage Artist Suite Review

Hotel NuVe Heritage is a 6-storey, 19-room boutique hotel with a walk-in restaurant at the first level and the reception all the way at the back of the restaurant.

Snack bar with welcome drink for the hotel guests:

What I love about it:

1. Location

credits: Booking.com

Hotel Nuve Heritage is in Singapore near to Bugis & City Hall MRT station, located at 13 Purvis Street (along shophouses). It took us about 10 mins walk to reach Bugis Junction and Bugis Street (of which i did a manicure there).
Recommendations while you're here:
- The Cat museum
- Chin Chin Chicken Rice
- National Library
- Chijmes
- The Cathay Cineplax

Our transport during staycay:
OBIKE! There's a promotion - so we hopped onto it as it's free and explored teehee!

To get there:
MRT Stations:
– Bugis Station EW12 (about 8 minutes’ walk from Exit C)
– Esplanade Station CC3 (about 5 minutes’ walk from Exit F)

Bus Service Nos. (along Beach Road):

– 56, 57, 100, 107, 961 and 961 (about 2 minutes’ walk from bus stop #01611)
Bus Service Nos. (along North Bridge Road):
– 7, 32, 51, 61, 63, 80, 145, 175, 195, 851 (about 2 minutes’ walk from bus stop #01029)
Taxi / Private Car:

– 20 minutes’ drive from airport via ECP

2. Room spanning across the WHOLE of the 6th floor!

The moment we exit the lift, we entered into the living room of the Artist Suite. Our first experience - aiyo so sua ku so must take pic!!!

3. Clean

I've seen many boutique hotels that is sub-standard to prestigious hotels but this is one that by far, very CLEAN! and I love it :)

4. Outdoor Bathtub and Outdoor Space

Only for Artist Suite, there's an outdoor bathtub - don't worry there are wooden blinds that gets you covered while you enjoy this personal spa of yours. It connects to the bathroom, to keep the dry and wet floor separated.

And there's a chillin' corner =)

5. Generous food/drinks/personal beauty, hygiene products

You know it's almost like a taboo not to eat anything in the fridge, open any snacks or chocs, warn your partners NOT to twist open those expensive-looking liqour because they are all SO expensive??? No, not in Hotel Nuve Heritage!! Everything in the minibar is free, so are the miniatures alcohol!!! It was such a pleasantry while we unleash our beast to take out those cold drinks from the fridge to pamper ourselves in the hot weather. It's indeed RELAXING, with no restrictions!

Similarly for the personal beauty, hygiene products - it is well thought of. They even had shoe polish! Only thing is that there're no shower cap. & the weighing scale? totally useful to remind myself how much I've eaten for dinner HAHA.

6. Complimentary Breakfast set - No boringz buffet breakfast!

Yay to breakfast set - just like any other time where we would walk in to cafes serving breakfast, these are one of the time that we don't have to pay. Room stay inclusive of breakfast! Meal set comes with one main and one drink!

Extra notes:
Yes, in case you're wondering -
- free wifi
- non smoking room
- air-conditioned
- safety deposit box
- 38 square meters (outdoor space really takes up a lot)
- king sized bed
- glass toilet door with toilet bowl facing the bed (warn your partners/family members before going to pee!)

Overall, superb experience! The short 2d1n stay over the weekend did rejuvenate ourselves, lifting our spirits! we're happy!
